To celebrate, Game Freak released Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Let's Go, Eevee! on Nintendo Switch in 2018. While you do travel around the original games' Kanto region and only encounter the first 151 Pokémon, this is not a remaster. For one thing, these Switch games employ a catching style reminiscent of Pokémon Go's mechanics.
So let me get this straight. After playing a little bit of the game, I learn that we CAN'T battle wild Pokemon at all, and if we want to get EXP to level up our Pokemon, we have to keep catching wild Pokemon over and over again, even if they're ones we have already caught, or we have to battle the Trainers, who I don't know we can repeat
