GOLF MK5 1.4 Tsi gt sport 170 faultcode P2006. Bought myself a mk5 golf 1.4 tsi gt sport 170, did a diagnostic and code P2006 is coming up. When I plant it itβs like the car is struggling to breath, boost kicks in but very on & off if you know what I mean. Been told flaps can be deleted but not too sure if thatβs good for the car.
Hi all, My son has just bought this car on a 58 plate and it has developed the following issue: When flooring the accelerator to overtake the supercharger phase is good then the turbo charger takes over, but after 2/3 seconds the turbo gauge drops to half and the power decreases (but still accelerates but not as quickly) you feel a slight jolt as the turbo seems to drop out (no EMU light comes).
Wednesday 10th August 2016. I used to own the 1.4 TSI 125 in the previous shape Leon and to me it felt quite a bit slower than latest generation EA211 1.4 TSI 140/ 150 fitted to the latest models
